BREAKING Registration for Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Opens
Chaos ensues as Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind Registration opens for select Disney Vacation Club members, Annual Passholders, and Golden Oak Club members. News broke yesterday for Disney Vacation Club Members.
Emails rolled in this morning around 9:15am EDT, informing us that registration for the long-awaited EPCOT attraction, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind has opened.
In the Disney Vacation Club queue, it informs us that preview dates are May 9th and May 18th.
For Annual Passholders, dates start from May 9th. Several dates are available through the month of May.
Be sure that you check you emails and register as soon as possible, as spots are going quickly. The queues state that there are limited spots, and waiting in queue does not guarantee you a preview date!

More about Cosmic Rewind
This attraction has been long-awaited, as it was announced at the 2019 D23 Expo. The ride is filling the spot of Universe of Energy, which closed on August 13th, 2017. Filming for the new Guardians-themed attraction began in fall 2021. In September, we were so excited to get a sneak peak at the ride vehicles for the attraction.
Original opening dates were planned for 2021, but because of the pandemic construction was postponed. The ride’s official opening date will be May 27th, 2022. This is just one attraction in an overhaul for EPCOT, which is replacing future world with three new neighborhoods. The four neighborhoods will be the World Showcase, World Nature, World Celebration and World Discovery. EPCOT’s renovations are scheduled to be completed sometime in 2023.
