Welcome Mousekefriends! Join us as we take a look into D23 Disneyland Updates, given today by Disney Chairman, Josh D’Amaro!
The morning started with John D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products started off the morning.
- Disneyland Resort: D’Amaro and Favreau gave us a sneak peak of the Mandolorian and Grogu walkaround cosutumes for the parks, which were amazing! They will begin walking around Disneyland in mid-November.
- Hulk will also begin to be seen in the park, starting at Avengers Campus NEXT WEEK in Disneyland!
- “We want to give our fans more of what they want.” said D’Amaro
- We will also have a multiverse attraction being added to Avengers Campus. This ride will feature the mutiverse of heroes against an all new Thanos- King Thanos, which is the Thanos who won. They said it will be coming soon, but did not give an official timeline.
- Disney California Adveture will be taking the wharf and it will be becoming San Fransokyo for Big Hero 6!
- Paradise Pier will be Pixar Place Hotel officially. It will feature a Finding Nemo splashpad and some of our favorite Pixar pals, including Dante from Coco.
- Downtown Disney, a dozen new options will be opening soon. Porto’s Bakery and Café will be coming to the area, as well as a new Japanese cuisine restaurant.
- RunDisney will be coming back to Disneyland in 2024, the last one was 2017.
- It all started with a mouse! We will be celebrating the mouse himself, in a whole new way in Reimagined ToonTown. We will be adding Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The ToonTown Reimagining will also bring a celebration of all things Mickey. Donald’s Boat will still be featured. Goofy’s how to play yard will be much more interactive now as well.
- Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will be coming late 2024. We got a little bit of the storyline for the new attraction. The year is 1927, and Tiana is throwing a party for New Orleans- but she’s missing an ingredient. So guests will join her to help her get ready for the party and help retrieve the last ingredient. This attraction will have the magical aura of New Orleans, and light up beautifully at night. Several of the film’s cast will reprise their roles for the ride.
