Disneyland Paris Christmas

Disneyland Paris Remains Closed

On October 28, we reported that Disneyland Paris would be raising the ropes for the second time, as the French government imposed a ‘reconfinement’ for all of France.  While France’s second lockdown restrictions are easing a bit with nonessential retail outlets opening, Disneyland Paris remains closed.

Disneyland Paris had hoped to reopen for the Holidays, starting December 19 “based on prevailing conditions and government guidance at that time” and had planned to close again from January 4 to February 12, 2021. But in his address on Tuesday November 24, French President Emmanuel Macron announced theme parks are not to reopen for the Holidays. According to a statement by Disneyland Paris, “the latest government measures announced for France do not allow us to deliver the Disneyland Paris experience and therefore the destination will remain closed until 12 February 2021.”

Guests with holiday reservations during this time of closure are encouraged to reschedule with their balance applied to the new booking. Any difference for a lower priced trip will be refunded, but guests are responsible for any increase in price. When rebooking is not an option, Disneyland Paris will refund your total in full.

As a consolation for packages that were booked for arrivals during the time that Disneyland Paris remains closed, guests who rebook a new package by 12 February 2021 for an arrival up until 30 September 2021 receive €100 spending money to be used at Disneyland Paris during their stay.
