The Enchanted Rose Lounge at Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

A Blog as Old as Time…

The Enchanted Rose Lounge is a tribute to Disney’s Live Action Beauty and The Beast film.  It is located on the second floor in Walt Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.  Just a short monorail’s trip from Walt Disney’s Magic Kingdom Park.

Food and Drinks

It is a very posh lounge, offering small plates and beer and hard cider, signature cocktails, martini’s and wine.  We enjoyed some of their infamous Truffle Fries and the Mini Smoked Brisket Sliders.  The Truffle fries were amazing, but the sliders were not our cup of tea (even if chip was the one serving it 😊) I would recommend visiting the Enchanted Rose Lounge with adults (maybe a Monorail PUB CRAWL), I didn’t find it very child friendly (I did not see, nor can I find a children’s menu) I cannot recommend any of the signature cocktails as we enjoyed a beer(it was that type of day), however, if I were to have ordered a cocktail it would have been a Sunny Margarita.

Enchanted Rose Bar
Decor

The bar side is very elegant, the chandelier above the bar is beautiful, we had a lovely table with a pretty window view.  Unfortunately, the “The Library” was closed due to Covid-19 restrictions. They did let me go in and have a peek to take some photographs. The décor was stunning.  The Library boasts beautiful wine bars and nice cozy places to sit and unwind. If you look all around the room, you will notice nods to Disney’s Beauty and The Beast Live Action Film.  I am a huge Beauty and the Beast fan, so I did fan girl a bit while at the Enchanted Rose Lounge.

In my opinion, Disney has created a beautiful lounge.  I did find it pricey as we paid $56.00 for Truffle Fries, Mini Smoked Brisket Sliders and two tap beers.  Did we enjoy it, Yes! Will we go back? Probably a one and done for us.  I would put this on my “Disney Date Night” list-if you are ever lucky enough to get one of those.  If I were headed there for a dinner at 1900 Park Fare with the family, I may stop in with the kids to seek out Mrs. Potts, Lumiere or Cogsworth.  Check out the Enchanted Rose Lounge the next time you head to Walt Disney World this year or next!  Contact us for a free Quote!
