Top 5 Things to See and Do at Disneyland’s PIXAR FEST 2024

From April 26 – August 4, 2024, Disneyland Resort will be celebrating all things Pixar Animation Studios with the return of Pixar Fest.  Don’t wait to book your Disneyland trip!  Reach out to the experienced agents at Kingdom and Cruise Travel so we can help you plan to take part in this special event.  Read on to learn about 5 things to do and see when Pixar Fest returns!

1. New ‘Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!’ Parade at Disney California Adventure Park

Visitors at Disneyland’s California Adventure Park can catch a new parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration” twice a day.  It might be worth it to watch it both times!

Artist’s rendering of Joe Gardner’s float featuring characters and music from “Soul.”

You will see more than two dozen Pixar characters, including friends from “Soul,” “Luca,” “The Incredibles,” “Coco,” “Monsters, Inc.,” and “Toy Story.”

2. ‘Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular’ at Disneyland Park

This nighttime projections and fireworks show will return to Disneyland Park with new scenes.  Get ready to feel all the feels as you watch Miguel strumming his guitar and Carl and Ellie’s house floating above Sleeping Beauty Castle.

No claw here! Just oohs and aahs for the amazing fireworks and projection of Toy Story Aliens on Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

Some new scenes include moments from Pixar’s “Onward,” “Soul,” “Luca,” “Turning Red” and “Elemental” brought to life like never before.

Where can you catch this show? Head to Rivers of America, the façade of “It’s a Small World” and Main Street, U.S.A for the projections, lasers and music.  Fireworks will illuminate the sky on many of the nights.  Be sure to ask your Kingdom and Cruise Travel Agent for the updated schedule!

3. Pixar-Themed Foods and Marketplaces

Foodies, get ready for Pixar-inspired food and beverages available around the resort! Savor burritos inspired by Coco. and a Dinoco Blue (Blue Cheese) Cheeseburger inspired by Cars. Indulge in clever desserts like eye scream inspired by Monsters inc. and “There’s a Snake on My Funnel Cake” inspired by Toy Story.

Selections at Alien Pizza Planet include this Alien Macaroooon and NEW Cosmic Chili Pasta.

In addition to offerings at your favorite dining locations and kiosks, there will also be 6 Festival Marketplaces beginning May 10: Elemental Table, Hanger Management, Gusteau’s To-Go, The Spark, Portorosso Pasta, and 4*Town Favorites.  Can you match a Pixar movie to these themed marketplaces?

4. Encounters with Pixar Characters

At both Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park, you will be able to meet many characters from Pixar stories! Get ready to encounter favorite Pixar friends from Inside Out, the Incredible, and Toy Story.  You may also run into Ember and Wade from “Elemental!”  They will be making their Disneyland Resort debut for Pixar Fest!

Joy and Sadness are ready to say hi (or frown at you).

5. Pixar Fest Merchandise

Sometimes a special souvenir helps you seal the memories. Be on the lookout for new novelties arriving just for Pixar Fest! You can purchase new hats, shirts, bags, mugs and other wearables.

Some of the new Pixar Fest collection includes this Pizza Planet baseball shirt and Pixar Fest crossbody bag and Spirit Jersey.

One of my favorite items to collect is limited edition popcorn buckets.  They serve as both a snack holder and a souvenir!

Refill this Pizza Planet Truck with popcorn for just $2.25 throughout your Disneyland vacation! Best snack value in the parks.

What are you most excited to experience at Pixar Fest?! Some Kingdom and Cruise Travel Agents, including me, are heading to Disneyland in a few weeks.  Stay tuned for a closer look at Pixar Fest as we bring you the highlights up close.  But we hope you get to experience it for yourself!
