Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a special after-hours ticketed event on 25 select dates between November 9th-December 22nd. This party is held at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park. When you purchase these tickets, you get access to the park from 4pm until midnight. This party has classic offerings like attractions and shows, but also special fireworks and themed parades.

Arrive Early

We recommend arriving early to fully enjoy and appreciate this event. after all, you are paying for it. If you are entering Magic Kingdom at 4, they usually have a separate entrance to the right, so you can get your special wristband. This wristband is your key to staying in the park during this special party!

Dress For the Occasion

Holiday Ears Available on ShopDisney

We absolutely love the idea of dressing up for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Have fun with festive Christmas get-ups, like ugly Christmas sweaters, red and green velvet, or Christmas-themed Minnie ears! It’s even better when you can dress up with your group and coordinate cute outfits. DO be sure to check the weather beforehand. Florida weather is unpredictable, and you don’t want to be in heavy layers on a hot evening.

Make a Game Plan

Don’t go in blindly. There are special parades, fireworks shows, character meet and greets, and special snacks. There is so much to do, you will not be able to get it all done in an evening. Decide what your priorities are, and make a plan based on those priorities. Want to see the Santa Claus? Get in that line at 4pm. If you can, make a loose schedule of where you want to go and when, and what snacks you’d like to eat during the night, so you can be sure to hit everything you’d like as your tour the park, and you can maximize your time.

Don’t Miss the Parade

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Parade

One of the things these special parties are known for are their fantastic parades. This is no different for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. This magical parade includes toy soldiers, Santa, and plenty of other holiday-themed floats that are dripping in magic. This parade is done twice during the duration of the party, so make sure you make it to at least one of them!

Enjoy the Cookies

During Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, they have trick-or-treat stations set up around the park. Instead of candy, they have fantastic holiday cookies available around the park at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Definitely be sure to snag these delicious, complimentary, individually wrapped cookies to enjoy at your leisure! While you’re grabbing these cookies, be sure to grab a free hot chocolate or eggnog that’s available at some of the cookie stations.

Make Sure You Plan Your Other Time Accordingly

One thing to keep in mind is that you don’t want to burn yourself out before or after the party. The best way to enjoy your day before a party, in our entirely correct opinion, is to spend it at the resort. lounge by the fabulous pools available at your resort, and just relax beforehand. Also, keep in mind that the party does go until midnight, so by the time you get back to your resort and get ready for bed, it may be the wee hours of the morning. If you can, be sure to plan an easy morning of sleeping in and taking it easy.
