Mask Photo

Breaking News: You may remove your mask for pictures at Walt Disney World!

Disney just announced that you may remove your mask for pictures at Walt Disney World! Get those smiles ready folks!

Per Statement from Walt Disney Worlds Website:

“Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and Cast Members, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine. Please bring your own face coverings and wear them at all times, except when dining or swimming. You may temporarily remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking an outdoor photo*, but you must be stationary and maintain appropriate physical distancing during this time.”

(*Beginning April 8)

Walt Disney World has been very strict with their mask policies since opening back up after the closure due to Covid. They have gone, as far as, posting Cast Members in front of the castle at Magic Kingdom to enforce the mask policy while taking photos. Their friends at Universal Studios Orlando though, have allowed guests to remove their masks briefly to take photos.

The new policy goes into affect on April 8th, and I can not wait to see some smiles in these pictures!

As with all nice things though, please follow the rules or they will be take away. Make sure to stay 6 feet away from others, and place your mask back on afterwards!
