1900 Park Fare Is reopening April 10 at Disney’s Grand Floridian

The long anticipated news dropped today!

1900 Park Fare is reopening at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa on April 10. This elegant and iconic restaurant will offer guest favorites, new character meet and greet opportunities and refreshed decor.

Here are five things you can expect to see when you return:

1. NEW Favorite Disney Characters

We have a new character experience to look forward to with a great lineup of some of our favorites!  Get ready to greet Aladdin in his Prince Ali look, Cinderella, Mirabel and Tiana in her new look for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as they celebrate the power of a wish.

2. A Royal Buffet

Breakfast and dinner buffet offerings feature some returning favorites including the strawberry soup!  Plus, find new menu selections created by Disney’s talented chefs to pay tribute to the classic stories you’ll encounter throughout the restaurant’s decor and characters.

3. An homage to the Restaurant’s Heritage

Big Bertha, an antique organ that has been at the resort since 1988, will feature prominently in the restaurant’s main dining room.  Additionally, the carousel theme can be found throughout the restaurant including in a NEW mural at the restaurant’s entrance.

4. Exclusive New Artwork

You can find 12 new portraits created exclusively for the restaurant by Disney artists. Each one was inspired by the impressionist style of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  Each portrait features a Disney character as they wish upon a star (or magic lamp or wishing well).

5. Disney Nostalgia and New Traditions

1900 Park Fare and it turn-of-the-century whimsy has been the site of many vacation memoires over the years. The restaurant aims to keep the memories alive from that spirit of carefree days and at the same time it will offer its patrons opportunities to delight in new character experiences and appreciation for change.  This is what keeps families coming back – there is always something magical and new at Disney World.
